ffDiaporama is an application that lets you create video sequences using photos, music, videos files and text (i.e. titles). Think of it as a movie creator that allows you to produce slideshows by inserting smooth transition between two or more video tracks.
ffDiaporama is a fork of Videoporama that was totally rewritten from the ground up in Qt. It comes bundled with a lot of features such as:
- Ability to cut/rearrange videos clips
- Video cutting
- Image filters (Gama, lumunosity, contrast ...)
- Animation support (Zoom, rotation, Ken Burn Effect ...)
- Image/Video resizing
- Wide range of supported image/video formats (Bmp, gif, jpeg ... /Mkv, avi, mp4 ...)
- Sound support
- Preview mode (Real time)

Ubuntu/Kubuntu users can easily install ffDiaporama using the following PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ffdiaporamateam/stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install ffdiaporama
